Pedros Chicken invites applications for a brand-new store opening in Durban. We are seeking a driven manager to lead a fast-paced restaurant/take-away operation from day one and to help build a strong store culture.

You will oversee operations, quality standards, stock control, customer service, profitability, and staff development in a dynamic launch environment. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years restaurant and fast-food management experience.
• GAAP knowledge is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant/take-away operations end-to-end.
• Maintain quality standards and COMPANY'S SOPs.
• Oversee stock control, purchasing and orders.
• Handle customer complaints and maintain service levels.
• Maximise profitability and achieve sales/GP targets; motivate staff.
• Manage staff, including discipline and rosters.
• Drive the restaurant forward as part of a team.
• Ensure health and safety compliance.
• Ensure daily opening/closing procedures are followed.
• Lead marketing and promotions at the store.
• Manage customer service relations and timely complaint handling.
• Provide staff training and regular meetings for development.
• Recruitment and performance evaluations.
