Our client, a major telecommunications infrastructure company, is seeking an experienced Network Operations Centre (NOC) Manager to lead their operations based in Rustenburg, North West . This critical role involves overseeing the day-to-day functioning of the NOC, ensuring the optimal performance, availability, and security of the client's extensive network. You will be responsible for managing a team of NOC engineers and analysts, developing and implementing operational procedures, and ensuring swift incident response. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in network operations, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of telecommunications network technologies, protocols, and architectures (e.g., IP, MPLS, DWDM, mobile networks).
• Proven experience in managing and operating a 24/7 Network Operations Centre.
• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, particularly Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Demonstrated experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix).
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Ability to make critical decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in budgeting and resource management for operational teams.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
