Placements24 is seeking an experienced Head of Claims to lead the Motor & Accident claims division in Polokwane, Limpopo. This senior role requires guiding end-to-end claims processes, achieving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service within a regulated environment.

You will manage a team of claims professionals, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement across the department in the Limpopo region.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Law or Business Administration required or equivalent.
• Advanced certifications in claims management are highly desirable.
• 10+ years in insurance claims with 5+ years in leadership within motor/accident claims.
• Strong knowledge of motor insurance laws, fraud detection, and best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop strategic plans for Motor & Accident claims to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and mentor a claims team to achieve high performance.
• Oversee investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of motor/accident claims per policy terms and laws.
• Ensure compliance with SA insurance regulations and standards.
• Monitor metrics, identify trends, and drive process improvements to reduce losses.
• Manage relationships with third-party providers and service networks.
• Present periodic reports on performance and strategic initiatives to senior management.
