About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and growing food service company operating a fleet of mobile catering units, is seeking a dedicated Mobile Catering Unit Manager for their operations in Bloemfontein. This role involves the day-to-day management of one or more mobile catering units, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality food service, and excellent customer satisfaction. The Unit Manager will be responsible for staff management, inventory control, cash handling, compliance with health and safety regulations, and driving sales. This is a hands-on role for an individual with strong operational and people management skills, who enjoys a fast-paced, on-the-go environment within the Free State region. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, coupled with robust organizational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of mobile catering units, including service delivery, food preparation, and customer interactions.
• Manage and schedule unit staff, providing training, motivation, and performance feedback.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and food hygiene standards and regulations.
• Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively.

Requirements
