About the Role

Our client, a dynamic company specializing in mobile catering solutions in Vereeniging, Gauteng , is seeking an experienced and energetic Mobile Catering Unit Manager. This role is responsible for the successful operation and management of a food truck or mobile catering unit, ensuring high-quality food service, excellent customer engagement, and efficient operational management. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience in various locations throughout Vereeniging and surrounding areas. You will be the face of the brand, driving sales and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the mobile catering unit's daily operations, including food preparation, inventory, sales, and customer service in Vereeniging, Gauteng.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Develop and maintain appealing menu offerings, considering efficiency and profitability.
• Manage and train unit staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the mobile unit and its equipment.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team.
• Basic financial management and inventory control skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and travel within the Vereeniging area.
