Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer to advance production processes in Randburg. You will design, analyze, and optimize manufacturing methods, ensuring quality and safety across operations.

A strong background in lean and Six Sigma, plus CAD and simulation proficiency, will enable you to lead improvements and support new product introductions. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, exceptional problem-solving and project management skills, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years in a Manufacturing Engineering role.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma.
Proficiency in CAD software and experience with simulation tools.
Excellent problem solving, analytical and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and production systems to meet specs and quality.
Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvements, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
Develop and implement process controls and quality assurance procedures.
Create and maintain process documents, SOPs, and workflows.
Collaborate with R&D, design, and production on new product introductions and redesigns.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement durable solutions to minimize downtime.
