Job summary

The Red Carnation Hotel Collection invites applications for an Events Coordinator within the Revenue team at The Twelve Apostles Hotel. You will coordinate conferences, private bookings, and high-end F&B events, ensuring seamless guest experiences and timely communications with all stakeholders.

You should have 2 years of event coordination in a premium environment, strong English skills, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (minimum).
• 2 years F&B events coordination experience in a high-end environment.
• Computer literate with MS Office suite including Outlook, Opera, Micros, Word and Excel.
• Highly presentable with excellent English communication (verbal and written).
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage conference, events and private bookings per F&B Manager procedures.
• Maintain harmonious relationships with other departments and suppliers; ensure professional client communications.
• Support revenue team to maximise revenue opportunities while delivering guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate private functions, events and special requests; prepare function sheets and layouts.
• Assist with restaurant reservations and generate weekly revenue reports.
