Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an innovative and analytical Process Engineer to optimize Welkom's manufacturing operations. You will drive continuous improvement, enhance production efficiency, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires strong engineering skills, problem-solving, and a passion for lean manufacturing principles. The successful candidate will analyze current processes, design new methods, and collaborate with production, QA, and R&D to implement changes while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and process optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams in Welkom.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and flow charts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to implement process changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, implementing effective long-term solutions.
• Monitor and report on KPIs, driving continuous improvement efforts.
