Placements24 is seeking a Process Engineer for a manufacturing operation in Centurion. You will optimize production processes, drive efficiency, and reduce costs by analyzing current methods and applying new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Process Engineering role within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.
• Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, Arena) is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
• Design, develop, and implement new production processes and technologies to enhance output and quality.
• Conduct process simulations and pilot tests to validate proposed changes before full-scale implementation.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including P&IDs, standard operating procedures, and control strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and maintenance, to ensure seamless process integration and troubleshooting.
• Monitor KPIs related to production processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
