Placements24 is seeking an innovative and analytical Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes at our East London facility. You will analyze current production methods, identify enhancements, and implement solutions to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.

The role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement within the manufacturing sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, process optimization techniques, and SPC.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new or modified production processes and equipment.
• Conduct trials and experiments to test process improvements and new technologies.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and control plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
• Monitor process performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive root cause analysis for deviations.
