Job summary

Placements24 in Cape Town seeks a Lead Property Developer to drive end-to-end projects from site acquisition to sales or leasing. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage risk, and ensure projects meet time, budget, and quality expectations.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in real estate development, deep knowledge of Cape Town planning, and a track record of delivering complex schemes. Strong leadership, negotiation and financial modelling skills are essential.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive experience in real estate development and delivery.
Demonstrated Cape Town property market experience.
Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
Experience with local planning and regulatory frameworks in Western Cape.
Proficiency with project management software and financial modelling tools.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and conceptualization of new developments in and around Cape Town.
Oversee feasibility studies, market analyses and financial projections.
Manage land acquisition, contracts and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with architects, engineers and urban planners.
Direct tendering, supervision of construction, timelines and budgets.
Develop marketing and sales/leasing strategies for completed projects.
Mentor project management teams and build stakeholder relationships.
