Placements24 is seeking a strategic Property Development Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio in Cape Town. You will drive the full lifecycle of development projects from concept and feasibility through to construction, marketing, and final sale or leasing, ensuring on-time delivery and profitability.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, navigate zoning and regulatory processes, and build strong relationships with architects, engineers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive property development project management experience.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; understanding of construction processes and development finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of property development projects from concept to delivery.
• Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and financial analysis to identify opportunities.
• Oversee land acquisition, zoning, permitting, and regulatory compliance processes.
• Manage relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and timely completion.
• Coordinate marketing and sales efforts for completed developments to maximize ROI.
