You will lead complex projects, manage budgets, secure approvals, supervise design and construction, and shape marketing strategies with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Property Development, Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Master's degree is highly desirable.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant property development experience with a strong project portfolio.
• Proven track record managing complex development lifecycles from concept to handover.
• Solid knowledge of SA building codes, zoning and planning regulations (Cape Town area).

This senior position requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage the entire development lifecycle, from conception and planning through to construction, marketing, and handover. You will be responsible for driving innovation, ensuring project profitability, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and sustainability. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Property Development, Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in property development, with a strong portfolio of successfully completed projects.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects from inception to completion.
• In-depth knowledge of the property development process, including land acquisition, planning, design, construction, and marketing.
• Familiarity with South African building codes, zoning laws, and planning regulations, particularly in Cape Town, Western Cape.
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and standard office applications.
