The role requires a strong track record in leading engineering teams, extensive experience with PSS/E, ETAP and PSCAD, and a proactive, strategic approach to problem-solving.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in power system analysis, design and operation.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
• Proficiency in power system simulation software (PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD).
• Strong understanding of grid codes, protection principles, and power quality.
• Experience with renewable energy integration and energy storage technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Pr.Eng registration with ECSA is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Aufgaben

• Lead the design, development, and optimisation of electrical power systems (generation, transmission, distribution).
• Perform detailed power flow, short circuit, and stability analyses using specialised software.
• Oversee integration of renewable energy sources and energy storage into the grid.

• Troubleshoot complex power system issues and implement solutions.
