Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of new financial systems in Bloemfontein, Free State, ZA. This hybrid role blends on-site collaboration with remote flexibility to advance critical IT projects.

You will manage end-to-end lifecycle of financial system implementations, ensuring data integrity, user adoption, and regulatory compliance within the financial services sector. Strong ERP experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of project management experience; 4+ years in financial systems implementation.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle Financials, MS Dynamics).
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in financial services industry preferred.
• Proficient in PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholders in a hybrid environment.
• Certifications such as PMP, CISA, or CPA advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end financial system implementation projects (ERP, accounting software).
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop detailed project plans: timelines, budgets, resources, risks.
• Oversee configuration, customization, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure data migration accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, vendors and end-users.
• Manage risks and issues with timely solutions.
• Develop training plans for end-users.
• Provide regular status reports to senior management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls throughout.
