Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead an ERP system implementation across Randburg, Gauteng. This role drives process improvement, vendor selection, and change management for a major enterprise project.

You will oversee scope, budgets, and timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver training and post-go-live support to ensure a successful rollout.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• PMI PMP certification is a strong asset.
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience with at least 4 years in ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Experience managing large IT projects with significant budgets and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and successful completion of the ERP system implementation project.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Lead the selection process for ERP vendors and implementation partners.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and map current and future state processes.
• Manage system configuration, customization, and integration with existing IT infrastructure.
• Develop and execute testing strategies, including UAT.
• Create and deliver user training programs for successful adoption.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the implementation.
• Communicate with senior management, department heads, and end-users.
• Ensure smooth transition to the new system and provide post-implementation support.
