Job summary

Salesworx is seeking a Key Account Manager in Johannesburg, Gauteng to support New Business Development Execs, manage client relationships, and identify growth opportunities. You will onboard clients, troubleshoot, and consistently meet sales targets while ensuring high service standards and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing Management, Information Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of client-facing experience and at least 3 years sales experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong technical aptitude to explain solutions.
• Proven ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Understanding of records management, image processing, and cloud storage.
• Ability to translate technical features into business value.
• Customer focus, initiative, collaboration and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients.
• Ensure timely resolution of service requests and queries.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support retention efforts.
• Assist in onboarding of records management solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems.
• Identify and pursue add-on opportunities within existing accounts.
• Monitor client usage and suggest enhancements or new services.
• Collaborate with New Business Development Exec to develop tailored proposals.
• Meet and exceed sales targets.
• Prepare reports and insights for internal and client review.
• Ensure documentation and records management as defined in retention strategy.
