The Role
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented Administrator: Tenders, Procurement & Operations to join our team in Benoni. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing the company's day-to-day administrative function and providing direct support to management and operations. The successful candidate will take ownership of a wide range of administrative, tender, procurement, client and business-support activities. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities and taking initiative without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Search for and identify relevant tenders, RFQs and business opportunities.
- Review tender and RFQ requirements, deadlines and submission criteria.
- Complete, compile and submit tender and quotation documentation.
- Maintain a tender and opportunity tracking system.
- Prepare quotations, invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes and other business documentation.
- Source products, services and pricing from suppliers.
- Request and maintain supplier and client documentation.
- Maintain company compliance documentation, including CSD, tax, B-BBEE and other relevant records.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers and service providers via email and telephone.
- Follow up on quotations, outstanding documents, orders and payments.
- Assist with procurement and supplier management.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems.
- Capture and maintain company information, spreadsheets and databases.
- Assist with operational and logistical administration.
- Prepare basic reports and information for management.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure important administrative tasks are completed on time.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to management as required.

Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- 2-3 years' administrative experience preferred.
- Previous experience with tenders, RFQs, procurement or quotations will be an advantage.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Own reliable transport is advantageous.
- Candidates based in Benoni or surrounding areas will be preferred.
- Important: This is not a purely reception or filing-based administrative position. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of the company's administrative processes and become a key support function within the business.
