Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Service Desk Consultant for a 6/12 month contract based in Bethlehem. The role requires Grade 12, ITIL Foundation or equivalent qualification, and 1–3 years of service desk experience.

You will support Windows OS, Microsoft 365, basic networking, AD, and VPNs, with exposure to ServiceNow, Freshservice and JIRA Service Management. Excellent customer service and logging of requests are essential.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• A+ and/or N+ or equivalent IT support qualification.
• ITIL Foundation Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, networking, and business applications.
• Accurately log all support calls and service requests in the service desk system.
• Triage and resolve incidents, escalating to higher levels when needed.
• Monitor ticket queues and ensure timely resolution per SLAs.
• Deliver strong customer service via phone, email, chat or in person.
