Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a competent IT Helpdesk Support Analyst in Nelspruit to provide first-level technical assistance for computer systems, software, and hardware. You will guide users through troubleshooting steps and ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure for employees.

The role requires strong problem-solving, good communication, and experience with Windows OS and Office Suite, with CompTIA A+ or equivalent certifications considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Helpdesk Analyst or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network protocols.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Respond to helpdesk tickets and user requests in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate specialist team.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.
