Placements24 is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Support Analyst to join their IT support team in Centurion. The role involves providing first-level technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software and network issues, and maintaining productive IT operations.

The ideal candidate is a patient problem-solver with hands-on experience and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include handling tickets, configuring hardware and software, managing user access, and documenting solutions

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Helpdesk Support Analyst or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common office applications.
• Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Respond to support tickets and user requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Assist with user account management and access control.
• Document technical solutions and create knowledge base articles for common issues.
