Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a diligent Helpdesk Support Agent based in Centurion to provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and network issues. You will be the primary contact for internal users, resolving IT queries with strong customer service and technical proficiency.
The role requires experience in a helpdesk environment, understanding of Windows/macOS, and the ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
Qualifications
- Experience providing first-level IT helpdesk support.
- Solid understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience diagnosing hardware and software issues.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to IT support tickets and diagnose/resolve problems promptly.
- Install, configure and maintain computers, software, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Assist users with password resets and account management.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or specialized teams.
- Maintain accurate records of IT support requests in the ticketing system.
