Placements24 is seeking a diligent IT Helpdesk Analyst - Level 1 to join our client’s Pretoria team. You will be the first point of contact for hardware, software and network issues, providing timely resolutions and escalating where necessary.

This role offers a structured training environment, a hybrid work model between office and remote work, and opportunities for career growth within the IT department in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Proven IT support experience desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, TCP/IP and DNS.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support via phone, email, and in-person.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software.
• Resolve tickets within SLA; escalate complex issues.
• Assist with password resets and access permissions.
• Diagnose basic network connectivity issues.
• Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory.
• Document incidents and resolutions.
• Assist in configuring new employee workstations.
• Escalate to Level 2/3 support when needed.
• Maintain IT equipment and software inventory.
