Placements24 is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Support Analyst to join a growing IT support team. The role is predominantly remote with flexibility, serving internal staff and external clients.

Proximity to Klerksdorp, North West is advantageous for potential future requirements. The successful candidate will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, manage user accounts, and contribute to the knowledge base.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a helpdesk or technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, Windows and macOS.
• Proficiency in diagnosing hardware, software and network issues.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Jira Service Desk or Zendesk.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support for IT systems, software and hardware.
• Respond to queries by phone, email or chat and resolve issues.
• Install, configure and update software and hardware.
• Run diagnostics and escalate urgent cases to senior staff.
• Maintain user accounts and IT inventory; document actions in the helpdesk system.
