Placements24 is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Analyst in Stellenbosch to join a hybrid team, supporting staff and clients with IT issues. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems, manage tickets, and help maintain system integrity in a mixed office and remote environment.

Qualifications

Experience as a Helpdesk Analyst or similar IT support role.
Strong technical aptitude with Windows/macOS and common applications.
Experience with troubleshooting network connectivity and hardware issues.
Familiarity with IT support ticketing systems and remote support tools.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, able to explain technical terms clearly.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid office/remote environment.

Responsibilities

Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and ticketing system.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for staff and clients.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Assist with IT asset management and inventory tracking.
Contribute to IT documentation and knowledge base articles.
