Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Supervisor in Randburg, Gauteng to lead the maintenance team and ensure reliable operation of plant machinery. You will plan and oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, mentor technicians, and manage spare parts while upholding safety and environmental standards in a busy manufacturing setting.

Qualificações

• 6+ years hands-on maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience maintaining conveyor systems, motors, pumps, and automation equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work shifts/overtime in Randburg area.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of industrial maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to work schedules and quality standards.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee all preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities for plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the maintenance department.
• Manage spare parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing critical components.
• Implement and continuously improve maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with production management to minimize equipment downtime and support production targets.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities using the CMMS.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks with the maintenance team.
• Participate in the evaluation and procurement of new maintenance equipment and technologies.
