Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the plant's maintenance operations in Sandton, Gauteng. The role requires leading the maintenance team to ensure reliability of plant machinery and infrastructure, using preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.

You will develop maintenance plans, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to safety standards while driving continuous improvement and team development within a prominent industrial group.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in industrial maintenance with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor maintenance technicians and engineers.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Schedule and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Manage maintenance budgets, parts procurement and labor costs.
• Provide training and development for the maintenance team.
