Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience maintaining conveyor systems, motors, pumps, and automation equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work shifts/overtime in Randburg area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of industrial maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to work schedules and quality standards.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee all preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities for plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the maintenance department.
• Manage spare parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing critical components.
• Implement and continuously improve maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with production management to minimize equipment downtime and support production targets.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities using the CMMS.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks with the maintenance team.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in maintaining and repairing a wide range of manufacturing machinery, including conveyor systems, motors, pumps, and automation equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order tracking and asset management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work shifts or overtime as required in the Randburg, Gauteng area.
