Placements24 is seeking a proactive Industrial Engineer for their Centurion site to drive operational excellence in manufacturing. You will analyze complex data, design improvements, and partner with shop-floor teams to implement lean processes.

With 5+ years in industrial engineering and Lean Six Sigma, you will map processes, create SOPs, and mentor staff while delivering measurable cost reductions and quality gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial engineering experience in manufacturing/ Operations.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge and application.

Responsibilities

• Conduct studies of production processes, workflows, and plant layouts to identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop and implement Lean Six Sigma initiatives to streamline operations and reduce waste.
• Design improvements to material handling systems, equipment utilization, and workforce scheduling.
• Create detailed process maps, performance metrics, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to implement changes.
• Train and mentor staff on new procedures for efficiency and safety.
