Placements24 in Randburg is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join as a Continuous Improvement Specialist. You will lead cross‑functional process improvements to boost efficiency, cut waste, and elevate product quality using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

You will map value streams, run Kaizen events, develop SOPs, monitor KPIs, and coach teams in CI best practices, driving sustainable gains across operations in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering or operations with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Lean and Six Sigma knowledge with Green Belt/Black Belt desirable.
• Data analysis, process mapping and statistical software proficiency.
• Excellent facilitation, training and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, analysis and implementation of process improvements across manufacturing and operations.
• Utilize Lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke) to reduce waste and improve workflow.
• Coach teams through Six Sigma projects and data-driven problem solving.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation for consistency and quality.
• Monitor KPIs related to productivity, cost, quality and safety; report trends and opportunities.
• Train and mentor staff on CI methodologies and best practices.
