Placements24 is seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of clients in East London, Eastern Cape. You will bridge technical teams and client business goals, lead IT project implementations, and provide strategic guidance with a proactive support approach.

The role requires strong cloud, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure knowledge, plus excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in a Technical Account Management, Solutions Architecture, or Senior IT Consultant role.
• Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or relevant software solutions.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and build trust.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of key clients.
• Understand clients' technical infrastructure, business goals, and challenges.
• Develop and present technical solutions and project proposals tailored to client needs.
• Oversee the implementation and delivery of IT projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Provide proactive technical support and guidance to clients.
• Collaborate closely with internal engineering, sales, and support teams.
• Conduct regular technical reviews and business reviews with clients.
• Identify opportunities for service enhancements and new technology adoption.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate client records and project documentation.
