Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in tech support, strong Windows/macOS knowledge, and familiarity with ticketing systems and remote tools. A relevant IT qualification is desirable, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a technical support or helpdesk role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with network troubleshooting.
• Proficient in using ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A relevant IT qualification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, utilizing remote tools and knowledge base resources.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior technical staff or specialized teams with detailed documentation.
• Assist users with password resets, account configurations, and software access.
• Document all support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT documentation and user guides.
• Conduct regular system checks and perform preventative maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols.
