Placements24 in Mahikeng (North West) is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our client's team. You will provide frontline and second-line technical support to staff, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and help maintain IT systems.

The role blends on-site and remote work, offering a hybrid arrangement. A Diploma or Bachelor's in IT or CS and 1–2 years of experience are preferred, along with strong problem-solving and customer-service skills.

Qualificações

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–2 years IT support or similar technical role.
• Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with network protocols, hardware, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Familiar with common office applications and IT support ticketing systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, printers, mobile devices, and applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the IT environment.
• Document support issues, solutions, and procedures in the IT knowledge base.
• Assist in the implementation of new IT projects and system upgrades.
