Placements24 is seeking a customer-focused Helpdesk Support Analyst to join the IT department in Upington. You will provide first and second-level technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues to keep operations productive.

You will document solutions, assist with user accounts, and contribute to knowledge bases, while enjoying a hybrid work model and opportunities for certifications and training.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Helpdesk Support Analyst or similar IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
• Familiarity with network concepts and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for user interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Document support activities, solutions, and user guides in the knowledge base.
• Assist with user account management and access control.
