Placements24 is seeking a Helpdesk Analyst to join a dynamic software development company in Polokwane, Limpopo. The role supports internal staff and external clients, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and maintaining IT systems in a hybrid office/remote setup.

Qualifications

Proven helpdesk experience or IT support role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP networking concepts.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Respond to and resolve technical support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Provide support for user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
Document all support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or relevant departments.
Perform routine system checks and maintenance tasks.
Provide basic training on IT systems and software to end-users.
Ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures.
