Placements24 seeks an organized Event Operations Coordinator in Benoni, Gauteng. This hybrid role blends on-site event planning with remote admin, ensuring smooth execution of corporate functions and festivals.

You will coordinate logistics, manage vendors, create run sheets, and support clients and senior management to deliver high-quality experiences while adhering to budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in event coordination or event management support.
• Proven experience in managing event logistics and vendor relations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and vendors.
• Proficiency in event management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model and travel to event locations.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue setup, AV, catering, and staffing.
• Manage and liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Develop event run sheets, floor plans, and critical path timelines.
• Provide on-site support during events, overseeing operations and troubleshooting issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage event budgets, track expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Source and book vendors based on event requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations at venues.
• Support senior event management with various tasks and post-event reporting.
