Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an analytical and results-driven E-commerce CRO Specialist to join our team in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will lead conversion optimization across the customer journey, conduct user research, analyze data, design A/B tests, and collaborate with UX, development, and content teams to improve revenue.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in e-commerce analytics, experience with testing tools like Optimizely or Google Optimize, and a strong data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics or a related quantitative field.
• At least 3 years in Ecommerce CRO or equivalent optimization role.
• Experience with A/B/multivariate testing tools and web analytics platforms.
• Strong UX understanding and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive CRO strategy for the ecommerce site.
• Analyze traffic, behavior, and conversion funnels using analytics tools.
• Design and run A/B and multivariate tests; analyze results.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, surveys, and heatmaps.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, development and content teams to implement changes.
• Monitor KPIs: conversion rate, AOV, bounce rate; report insights.
• Stay updated on CRO trends, tools and best practices.
• Generate regular testing progress and results reports for stakeholders.
