Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical E-commerce Performance Analyst to join our team in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will monitor KPIs, analyze website traffic and conversion, and drive data-informed optimization across channels.

The role requires 3–5 years in data analysis, proficiency with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau or Power BI, and strong SQL/Excel skills. You will collaborate with marketing, product, IT, and present insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
3–5 years of data analysis experience, preferably in e-commerce or digital marketing
Proficient in web analytics tools (GA/Adobe Analytics)
Strong data visualization skills (Tableau/Power BI)
Advanced Excel and SQL for data manipulation
Able to translate data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences
Strong communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with A/B testing and e-commerce platforms

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze e-commerce performance metrics (traffic, conversion, revenue, AOV, CLTV)
Develop dashboards and reports across channels
Analyze customer behavior and site engagement to identify optimization opportunities
Evaluate digital marketing campaigns and recommend improvements
Conduct A/B testing analyses to assess changes
Identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the e-commerce landscape
Collaborate with marketing, product, and IT to translate insights into actions
Present findings to stakeholders clearly and concisely
Stay updated with industry trends in e-commerce analytics
Ensure data accuracy across reporting platforms
