Placements24 is seeking an HR Specialist focused on Compliance for an on-site role in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will ensure adherence to SA labor laws, develop policies, and lead investigations with rigor and fairness. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years in HR compliance, strong analytical skills, and experience with HRIS and MS Office.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR compliance or labor relations.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor law (BCEA, LRA, EEA) and related legislation.
• Experience in HR investigations and managing employee disputes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication abilities.

Mansioni

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits of HR practices and documentation to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary processes in a fair and legally compliant manner.
• Oversee accurate maintenance of employee records and HR documentation.
• Provide guidance and training to management and employees on compliance-related matters.
• Stay abreast of changes in labor legislation and update policies accordingly.
• Manage work permit and visa processes for foreign employees, if applicable.
• Handle grievance procedures and ensure disputes are resolved appropriately.
• Assist in developing and delivering compliance training programs.
• Liaise with legal counsel and external bodies as required for compliance matters.
