Placements24 is seeking a Senior HR Advisor for its Mossel Bay operations. The role focuses on employee relations, policy implementation and HR support across functions in a coastal logistics environment.

The ideal candidate will have SA labor law expertise, 5+ years in HR advisory roles, and strong recruitment, performance management and training capabilities. This is an on-site position with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Advisor with a focus on employee relations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of South African labor law (LRA, BCEA, EEA, etc.).
• Experience managing disciplinary hearings, grievances and investigations.
• Strong understanding of recruitment, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert advice on HR matters, including employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and performance management.
• Manage and resolve grievances and disputes, conduct investigations and ensure fair outcomes.
• Support recruitment and onboarding for new employees.
• Administer HR policies ensuring compliance with legislation and standards.
• Develop and implement HR programs to improve engagement and productivity.
• Maintain accurate HR records with data protection compliance.
• Collaborate with managers to identify HR needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Facilitate training and development programs for staff and managers.
• Stay updated with changes in legislation and HR best practices.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as required.
