Placements24 is seeking a meticulous HR Compliance Officer in Vereeniging, Gauteng, to ensure adherence to South African employment laws and organizational policies. The role focuses on developing and monitoring compliance programs, conducting audits, and guiding management on risk mitigation.

This on-site position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Law or HR and at least 3 years of compliance experience, with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office and HRIS.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in HR compliance, labor law, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, etc.).
• Proven experience in conducting compliance audits and investigations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret complex legal documents and translate them into practical guidance.

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR compliance programs and policies.
• Monitor changes in labor laws and regulations and update policies accordingly.
• Conduct regular audits of HR practices, including recruitment, compensation, and employee records, to ensure compliance.
• Investigate and address any reported compliance violations or concerns.
• Develop and deliver training sessions to employees and management on compliance-related topics.
• Prepare and submit required compliance reports to regulatory bodies.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data and documentation.
• Advise HR and management on compliance matters and risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, industry best practices, and regulatory trends.
• Act as the primary point of contact for compliance-related inquiries.
