Placements24 is seeking a proactive Reservations Supervisor for a prominent hotel in Upington, Northern Cape. The role focuses on guiding the reservations team, ensuring accurate bookings, and maintaining optimal room inventory across channels to meet financial targets.

You will lead a small team, monitor performance, and implement reservation strategies to maximize occupancy while delivering excellent guest service. Strong PMS skills and revenue management understanding are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role in reservations or hotel operations.
• Strong knowledge of hotel reservation systems and distribution channels.
• Proven ability to optimize occupancy and revenue through rate and inventory control.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience training and mentoring junior staff in a hotel reservations team.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily reservations operations: inquiries, bookings, and cancellations.
• Ensure accurate processing of all reservations and guest details.
• Manage room inventory across channels, optimize availability and pricing.
• Develop and implement reservation strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Train and mentor reservation agents to adhere to standards and service protocols.
• Handle complex reservation requests and resolve issues or guest complaints.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports for management review.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Sales on room blocks and special requests.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rates, packages, and promotions.
