Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Group Reservations Supervisor for a remote-first role supporting hotels across South Africa, including East London in the Eastern Cape. You will oversee large group bookings, coordinate with organizers, and ensure accurate data entry in the PMS and reservation systems.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a supervisory hotel reservations role, strong knowledge of Opera or SynXis, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a supervisory or team lead role in hotel reservations.
• Experience with Opera or SynXis reservation systems.
• Remote-work experience is required.
• Familiarity with East London/Eastern Cape tourism is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the group reservations team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Respond to large group inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all group details are entered into the PMS and reservation software.
• Coordinate with event organizers, sales teams and front desk on room blocks and requests.
• Monitor booking pace and inventory, flag challenges to management.
