Placements24 is assisting a client in Port Elizabeth to recruit a meticulous Helpdesk Analyst. The role provides first and second‑level IT support, troubleshoots hardware, software, and network issues, and keeps productivity high.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in IT support, proficiency with Windows and macOS, Office Suite, and basic networking. A customer‑focused mindset and strong communication skills are essential for a hybrid Port Elizabeth office.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with user account management (creation/modification/deletion).
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues .

• Assist with user account management, including creation, modification, and deletion.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role .
• Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications.
• Basic understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).<
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid model from our Port Elizabeth office.
