Placements24 is seeking a Lead Technical Recruiter to establish and manage its recruitment function in Klerksdorp, North West. The role is hands-on and strategic, focusing on attracting top engineering and IT talent and scaling the team to meet growth objectives.

The successful candidate will design and execute sophisticated recruitment strategies, mentor recruiters, and partner with senior leaders to prioritize openings while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in lead or senior technical recruitment.
• Experience recruiting software, hardware, networks, data science.
• Experience building and mentoring recruitment teams.
• Strong understanding of engineering and technology domains.
• Proficient in sourcing techniques including Boolean search and X-ray search.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influence.
• Experience with ATS and recruitment technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive technical recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical recruiters, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for complex engineering and IT roles, from senior engineers to niche specialists.
• Partner closely with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand technical requirements and define recruitment priorities.
• Utilize innovative sourcing techniques and channels to attract top technical talent globally and locally.
• Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for key technical skill sets.
• Oversee and optimize the employer branding initiatives for technical roles.
• Analyze recruitment data to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure an exceptional candidate experience for all technical applicants.
