Placements24 is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to spearhead our technology recruitment division in Johannesburg. You will manage the full lifecycle for highly specialized IT roles, sourcing top candidates, engaging clients, and driving strategic growth for the consultancy.

You will mentor junior recruiters, lead business development efforts, and stay ahead of industry trends to fill complex positions across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in technical recruitment.
• Experience recruiting for a wide range of IT roles.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing and assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for senior and niche technical roles.
• Develop sourcing strategies to attract IT professionals.
• Conduct in-depth candidate interviews and technical assessments.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and hiring managers.
• Partner with clients to understand talent needs and provide recruitment advice.
• Source candidates via job boards, social networks, and headhunting.
• Negotiate offers and manage onboarding processes.
• Mentor junior recruiters and contribute to team culture.
• Support business development by identifying client opportunities.
