Placements24 is seeking a Head of Human Resources in Rustenburg to lead HR strategy and operations across the business.

You will drive talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training, and ensure compliance with South African labor laws while partnering with senior leadership to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in developing and executing strategic HR initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of human resources operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and training and development.
• Ensure compliance with all South African labor laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Lead the talent management strategy, including recruitment, retention, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Manage employee relations issues, conducting investigations and mediating disputes as necessary.
• Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
• Champion organizational culture initiatives and promote employee engagement.
• Manage the HR budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Provide strategic HR counsel and support to senior management and line managers across the Rustenburg operations.

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and growing industrial manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead its HR functions from its base in Rustenburg , North West province. This senior leadership role is pivotal in shaping the organizational culture, attracting and retaining top talent, and ensuring best practices in all HR domains, including talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR legislation, strategic HR planning, and a proven ability to partner effectively with senior management to drive business objectives.
