Placements24 seeks a dedicated Hotel Duty Manager to oversee daily operations at a mid-scale hotel in Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will be the senior on-site representative, ensuring smooth functioning across departments and maintaining brand standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires 2+ years in hotel supervision, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of PMS. On-site duties include managing front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance with robust problem-solving

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a hotel supervisory or management role.
• Ability to lead a diverse team and motivate staff.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and PMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations during shifts, including front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance.
• Maintain high standards of guest service and address concerns promptly.
• Supervise on-duty staff with clear direction and support.
• Handle cash, float management, and end-of-day procedures accurately.
• Respond to emergencies and apply established protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety and brand compliance.
