Placements24 is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to lead the reception and guest services team at a premier hotel in Rustenburg. This on-site role focuses on seamless check-in/check-out, reservations, and service excellence within a fast-paced environment.

You will train staff, schedule shifts, and manage performance while ensuring a welcoming lobby and efficient operations. A hospitality background and strong leadership are essential for driving guest satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of front office management or supervisory experience.
• Proven track record in leading a front desk operation and guest service excellence.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front office operations: check-in/check-out, reservations, guest inquiries.
• Train and manage front desk staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Develop and implement front desk procedures and policies.
• Monitor room inventory; collaborate with sales and housekeeping.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Prepare daily front office reports on occupancy and revenue.
• Maintain a welcoming and presentable lobby/front desk area.
• Manage the front office budget and control expenses.
• Implement strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
