Minimum requirements for the role :
- A bachelors degree in business administration, management, or related field is essential (MBA preferred).
- Previous experience within the fluid mechanics / hydraulic or related industries is preferred.
- Progressive management experience, with experience in a senior leadership role.
- Must have proven experience managing operations in a South African business environment.
- Strong understanding of B-BBEE, labour laws, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
- Financial acumen and experience managing P&L.
- Must have excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Overseeing daily business operations, drive strategic growth, and lead cross-functional teams in South Africa.Responsible for ensuring efficiency, profitability, and compliance with local laws and industry standards.Developing and executing business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals.Leading and managing all business departments including operations, finance, hr, sales, and marketing.Monitoring and evaluating overall company performance against KPIs and financial targets.Ensuring compliance with South African legal, tax, labour, and regulatory frameworks.Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting with the finance team.Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.Leading recruitment, performance management, and staff development to maintain a high-performance team.Identifying new market opportunities and driving business development initiatives.Implementing risk management policies and ensuring the business continuity plan is in place.Promoting a positive company culture and uphold corporate values.Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
